Hearing The Voice Of God – 2

Now there are times that we hear from God we know it is His voice and he says: Go…
And we are so excited that we have heard and we want to obey. We take a baby step and throw up our hands and say: now tell me what to do now. But he did already: He said go, not to take one step and stop. When he says go——–go until he tells you to turn right or left or to just go further.
Just like when my mom said Dinner: we know what it meant because we knew her. When God says Go, know what it means! Some naysayers argue that God does not talk to his creation
GOD SPOKE to Abraham Noah, Moses and the prophets under the old covenant. He spoke to the High Priest in the temple with curtain of the Temple up and dividing the Holy Place from the Holy of Holies.
Amos 3:7
Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
JESUS SPOKE to man while he was on this earth and what he said was recorded in the scriptures for us. He spoke exactly what God spoke.
John 12:49 49For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
He then left us the comforter to speak to us when He went to be with His father.
THE HOLY SPIRIT SPEAKS
John 16:13
13Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
When Jesus paid the price for us on the cross, the curtain that separated us from God was rent from top to bottom so that we are free to hear from God.
Should we break this chain? Should we hear from other voices? I NO: today we hear what God says thru His Holy Spirit and then we say what we hear. Another way to look at the trinity in this matter is:
GOD IS
Deut 32:4 He is a God of truth and without iniquity, Just and true is he.
JESUS IS
John 14:6 I am the way the truth and the life
THE SPIRIT IS
John 19: Howbeit it when the Spirit of truth is come
2 Corinthians 13:;8 We can do nothing against the truth, but only for the truth.
John 18:37 Everyone that is of the truth, hearth my voice.
You see: the word is alive. It was first spoken by God, In the beginning was the word………..the word was with God and the word was God…….and the word became flesh and dwelt among us……….
Then the inspired Word of God was then spoken by man, written by man, translated by man, language to language, generation to generation and it only gets stronger and stronger………..hand written, printing press, internet, It never changes;……….the power remains because it is alive.
Say you read a nursery rhyme that says In the beginning…Peter Rabbit………there is no power. In the beginning God…………the power of this statement can heal, save, restore and bring eternal life.. Because His word is alive……..regardless of the form, regardless of who says it!!! It lives because He lives.
I rarely have nightmares, but one night a few months ago I had a terrifying one. I woke up and began praying. The Holy Spirit calmed me and told me that the next night I should bring my Bible into my bedroom and open it. I asked to what verse: He said it did not matter because the word is alive, it is protection.
The next night when I was awakened by another bad dream, and I looked at the Bible and the words began lifting off the page, one by one, they swirled gently around the room, and drove every evil spirit away!!! I have never felt so safe, and never had that dream again. The Word is alive.
There are hundreds of scriptures telling us what God said.: And that when it was said: it was done. When we listen to Him, hear and obey: it is done.
This should give you even more comfort regarding Hearing from God: it always comes to pass, even if you drop the ball: it will come to pass thru someone else.
God said scriptures
Genesis 1:3
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
Genesis 1:6
And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
Genesis 1:9
And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
Genesis 1:11
And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

EVERY TIME GOD SAID: IT HAPPENED AND HE SAW THAT IT HAPPENED. HE SPOKE CREATION INTO BEING AND HE CONTINUED TO SPEAK TO THE CREATION AS HE GUIDED IT INTO PERFECTION AND IN TO RELATIOSHIP WITH HIM.
GOD SAYS: I am what I am, not what you want me to be
I say what I say, my word is true. When you hear it, believe it then do it.
John 2:5
His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.
That is our mandate: WHATSOEVER HE SAYS: DO IT.
WHAT DOES HE SAY TO US?
You are to lay hands on the sick
Cast out demons
Raise the dead
Cleanse the leper
Matthew 11:5
The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.
You must hear from him before you act or you may regret the action. Sometimes the delays are gut wrenching but they are THERE so you can either increase your faith while waiting or that God wants to give you something even better. Sometimes it seems as if God wants you to do the unreasonable: yes he does. Quit your job, move to another state or country, yet you have no idea what he has for you! Even though you cannot see the plan: the day will come when look back and say: I am so glad I listened to God.
Wisdom and natural reasoning may cause you to play it safe. The word leads you into areas that you had never before considered.
Homework: parents always tell kids to do homework first Then play. Do your homework first: Seek God first, make it a priority, then you will do well in earth school.
WHEN YOU DON’T KNOW GOD, YOU WILL NOT KNOW WHAT HE IS SAYING OR WHAT YOU ARE TO DO.
Now it seems to be a very simple plan, but remember we have an enemy who comes
Steal, kill and destroy. When you hear the voice of God, test it against scripture, meditate on it then study the character of God. Weigh it against the direction: will it bring life or death:
He has told us to CHOOSE LIFE
Deuteronomy 30:19
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
Every decision is like that: either life or death…what ever you hear, judge it according to life or death. JESUS HAS COME TO BRING LIFE AND LIFE MORE ABUNDANTLY.
One day in prayer: I said: father use me and he said no daughter: Use me. In order to use him, we must know his voice, his character and his desire.
Don’t become immobilized by the cares and concerns of the day. If you want to live a natural life, God will allow it, but if you want to live a supernatural life: cast all of your cares on Jesus and GO.
When we hear something and we are not sure of the voice: study the character behind what is said.
If it is The flesh: the motives are selfish
If it is The enemy: the motives are against God
If it is God: it is life
How do you know God’s character? It is found in His word. All thru the Bible we are shown his character, it never changes. Do your homework, learn the character of God and His voice will become clearer and clearer to you.
When you hear the Word of God you can then not only hear, but you can also see what God sees.
I am going to give you two examples, then we will confirm this scripturally.
A lady who I did not know came up for prayer. She just wanted general prayer and blessing. She had two small daughters with her. As I prayed, the Holy Spirit kept saying: she is calling you, she is calling you. After the third time of saying she is calling you… the word changed to Africa is calling you. Immediately I saw her and her girls standing in a village in Africa: I saw it as if I was looking thru a camera. At the same time she saw the exact same vision: She then told me she was an evangelist and was called to Africa and had been trying to make the decision to for some time. Of course we both cried with joy and thanked God for that special moment! Once experienced—you will seek after that moment with all your heart.
The next time it happened an older couple came up together for prayer. It was over a minor ticket of some kind. As I began to pray the Holy Spirit said: ask him why he really came up for prayer. Of course I obeyed and stopped praying and the Holy Spirit showed me the man lying on his bed crying from the depth of his soul. I saw his pain. I then asked him why did he really come up for prayer, his wife began to cry and begged her husband to tell me the truth. He said his son was in prison and they had had a terrible argument and they said they hated each other and hung up the phone.
I heard, then saw then acted. The man received total deliverance from unforgiveness and left at peace. This is not about me, it is about listening, hearing seeing and then acting.
Let’s look at Jeremiah who went thru the same process. When the Lord spoke to Jeremiah about his future and his calling, Jeremiah could not see it at first. God was prophetically calling him forth as a prophet and Jeremiah could only focus on his weaknesses. Isn’t that like us—especially whenever we can’t see what God sees?
JEREMIAH 1:4-8 The word of the Lord came unto me saying: before I formed thee in the belly. I knew thee, and before thou camest forth out of the womb, I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Then said I ah, Lord God, behold I cannot speak: for I am a child. Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee saith the Lord.
No matter what excuses Jeremiah gave God concerning his calling, God continued to speak to Jeremiah’s potential.
Maybe you can relate to this. When God speaks to us about advancement and we become consumed with excuses. One excuse is, “It’s too hard! I can’t move forward. My past was too difficult. How can I possibly move forward into something new when I have failed so many times before? I just don’t want to go thru that again. Sure, I want to do your will, but promise me first it will be easier than before!”
Unfortunately, the Lord does not answer with, “Diane, the next season will be a breeze…you’ll see; it will be easy this time.” Nope. Nada. Nine, no way: Instead, I got the same word that Israel did when they complained…
Deuteronomy 30:11 (AMP)For this commandment which I command you this day is not too difficult for you…
Now let’s see what the Lord said to Israel:
Deuteronomy 30:14 (AMP) But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your mind and in your heart, so that you can do it.—
The Lord is saying the same thing to you and me! He is saying the word of breakthrough for your calling is in your own mouth, in your mind and in your heart so that you can do it!
Yes, you can do it! Do what? All that He is commanding! Wow, isn’t that encouraging?
Listen: hear: act and see
God is Going to Touch Our Mouths
The Lord had to touch Jeremiah’s mouth so that he had a good confession concerning his future.
Jeremiah 1:9 (KJV)Then the LORD put forth His hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, “Behold, I have put My words in thy mouth.”—
Believers, the Lord is stretching forth His hand and touching our mouths and putting His words in our mouths. He is not going to open up doors to our future without His supernatural empowerment.
We first must listen then hear the Words, and he will put HIS WORDS into our mouth and heart then we can see……..
The word touch in this passage implies a supernatural bestowment of divine grace and help. The Lord desires that we have the God kind of faith—which is faith like His!
Jeremiah told God that his weakness was not being one of eloquent speech. Jeremiah did not believe he was mature enough or eloquent enough to speak for God.
Therefore, by touching Jeremiah’s weak area, God imparted a divine grace which overrode Jeremiah’s weakness.
He knows your weakness and in His strength you will become strong.
Joel 3:10
Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong. Strong and ready to do what you have asked.
God is doing the same for us so that we can fully shift into our calling!
God believes in us and He is promising that if we will have faith in His divine empowerment, He will provide what is needed for us to fulfill our future.
We are not alone in our walk. God promises to go before us and defeat our enemies; plus, all the while, He walks beside us—constantly encouraging us each day. Each new day is fresh and we can receive fresh mercy and grace.
When Satan lies to us and says that we are neither equipped nor anointed and that we did not hear from God, we can believe God for grace His to touch the area in which we feel weak.
Being Overshadowed
His promises to Jeremiah are the same as his promise to us, He will be watching over the words He has given us.
Jeremiah 1:12 (NIV) The LORD said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that My word is fulfilled.”—
When the Lord says He will watch over what He has promised, And He will see that His words do not return void.****ARE YOU ENCOURAGED?
The word watch in this passage is the Hebrew word shaqad, which means “to be alert, keep watch of and be wakeful over.” The same word for watch is the same Hebrew word used for “almond blossoms.” After the Lord put His words in Jeremiah’s mouth, He asked Him once more,
“What do you see?” Finally, Jeremiah did not answer with another excuse (or infer to God “It’s too difficult”), but said,
“I see an almond branch budding” (see Jeremiah 1:11).
There is tremendous significance in this passage.
Now Jeremiah’s was developing his ability to see his future. Remember now, before this passage Jeremiah could only focus on his weaknesses.
Then the LORD reached out His hand and touched my mouth and said to me, “Now, I have put My words in your mouth. See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.”

*****TAKE THIS WORD FOR YOURSELVES:
YOU HAVE BEEN APPOITED OVER NATIONS AND KINGDOMS……..TO UPROOT, AND TEAR DOW, TO DESTROY AND OVERTHROW, TO BUILD AND TO PLANT.
Jeremiah’s Shift
Finally, Jeremiah saw what God saw! After imparting strength to his weakness, Jeremiah was able to see his future. If we Listen for, hear and obey, our eyes will also be open to see what God sees concerning our ability and how He is going to use this ability for His glory.
Interestingly, Jeremiah was able to see “the branch of an almond tree.” Remember, the word used for almond tree is the same Hebrew word, shaqad, which is also the word used for “watching.”
Shaqad is further translated to imply “the awakening one.” The almond tree had blossom cups that are shaped like almonds and are the first to bud forth in its new season. One might say that the almond tree “awakens” to its new season. IT IS A NEW BEGINNING. HEARING HIS WORDS, ALLOWING HIM TO PUT THEM IN YOUR MOUTH, SPEAKING THEM OUT PUTS YOU IN YOUR CALLING WITH NO FEAR.YOU SEE THE FUTURE.
Jeremiah was “awakened” to his new calling. He received grace to fulfill his divine calling and then was awakened to his future. To become “awakened” means to open our eyes and see.
****Now receive a fresh word and become awakened to your calling.
When the Lord promises to watch over your promises, He is also committing to “protect” what He has promised. This means He will go to war for you and guard your potential.
He promises to give His angels charge over us to protect us and keep us from harm. Just as He provided for Israel a cloud by day and fire by night, He will do the same for us as He leads, guides and protects us.
See Your Future!
HEAR from God, LISTEN, and SEE your future. Then you will fulfill your divine destiny.
FATHER IN THE NAME OF JESUS: LET US HEAR YOUR WORD, AND THEN WE ASK THAT YOU PUT YOUR WORDS INTO OUR MOUTHS AND WE WILL SEE THE FUTURE YOU HAVE FOR US.
Isaiah 28:23
Listen and hear my voice; pay attention and hear what I say.
YOU CAN LISTEN YET NOT HEAR. YOU CAN LISTEN AND MISS WHAT IS BEING SAID: WE ARE TO PAY ATTENTION.
Exodus 15:26
He said, “If you listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you.”
AS YOU LISTEN AND HEAR: YOU WILL LIVE A LIFE OF TOTAL HEALTH: DISEASE FREE
Deuteronomy 30:20 and that you may love the LORD your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the LORD is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
AS YOU LISTEN AND HEAR YOU WILL HAVE LONG LIFE AND LIVE WHERE GOD HAS PROMISED YOU
Isaiah 6:8
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
**********I stand in agreement with each of you that you have received a Word from the Lord, and be blessed.
